The end of the year is a good time for reflection as well as looking forward to the coming year. It’s also the time of year when we set goals for ourselves and make our New Year’s resolutions. Unfortunately, as few as 8% of people actually achieve the goals they set at the beginning of the year.
Just as we make goals for ourselves in our personal lives, it’s good to set dental resolutions for the practice too. But it’s hard to measure progress toward your goals without setting a basis for comparison. When evaluating your dental practice, Dentistry IQ outlines these 10 KPI’s, or Key Performance Indicators. Measuring progress along the way will help you ultimately reach the goals you set out to.
Take the time to consider your dental resolutions and where you want your practice to be in 2015. What changes would you like to make? What goals will you work toward over the next 12 months?
It’s hard to believe that 2014 is already coming to an end. We wish all of our dental industry colleagues and friends a safe and healthy New Year, and look forward to continuing our relationships through 2015!
